Upcoming Event – PRSA SV Friday Forum: Pride Has Been Canceled. Now What?

I started BOCA 12 years ago as a consultant and 10 years ago it morphed into a real agency. We have always strived for BOCA’s culture to be happy, inclusive, loving, smart, hard-working, fun, results-oriented, empathetic, and the list goes on.

Action is more important than words or blogs and BOCA is showcasing real action — lead by example not by talk.

I am very proud of how BOCA is supporting diversity conversations across two initiatives: Black Lives Matter and LGBTQ+. I hope all BOCAteers are proud and understand the steps we’ve been taking.

It is Pride Month and in honor of the LGBTQ+ community, we have partnered with PRSA Silicon Valley for a #FridayForum on June 26 at 11 am PT called “Pride Has Been Canceled. Now what?”

These are strange and unsettling times in American life. We are at the intersection of a global pandemic, a recession, a Presidential election season, social unrest over racial injustice, and, yes, PRIDE.

For the LGBTQ+ community, it will go down in history as the year we had Pride without Pride.

We hope you will join us for an important and lively discussion on what is top of mind for the LGBTQ+ community.
