As we close out another summer, BOCAteers reflect on some of their favorite experiences throughout the last couple of months. We traveled, we spent time with family and friends, we made amazing memories. Read on to hear about some of our favorites…

Going to Orlando, FL to compete in the USA Volleyball Open National Championships with some of my best friends.

Visiting the deepest lake in the US at Crater Lake National Park in Oregon! It was incredible and the water was so blue.

My favorite summer memory was going to Disneyland with my boyfriend and some friends. We went super early and left at closing. It was a long day but was definitely worth it!

I had such a great summer! My nephew, Liam, came to visit me from Arkansas and we did all the fun things. I did lots of wine tasting and BBQing with friends, and I wrapped it up with a seven-mile float down the American River in Sacramento with my friend, Amie.

My favorite summer memories were watching my kids pursue their passions: my 15-year old attending UCI’s MedAcademy; and my 13-year-old on stage in “The Sound of Music.”

One of my favorite memories from this summer was spending the week at Lake Michigan with my family. This is our yearly tradition and we look forward to it all year. The weather was beautiful and my kids had a blast in the lake and playing on the beach.
