BOCAteer Spotlight: Taylor Byers

By March 22, 2022 No Comments

My name is Taylor but if you know me well, chances are you call me TayBye, Tay or TT!

What do you do at BOCA?: I’m an account supervisor at BOCA – in other words, there’s never a dull moment! In my role, I’m responsible for managing and training team members on how they can best serve our clients, establishing priorities that map back to our larger goals and KPIs and being the go-to our clients know they can trust!

What is life all about for you?: In the last few years, I’ve really tried to embrace the power of living in the moment. There will always be more to do, whether it be at work or in my personal life, but celebrating the small wins and reminding myself not to take life “too seriously” has helped ease my mind and enjoy every day for what it brings.

What drew you to PR?: I like to think it was destiny, but really I’m an overthinker by nature and when I learned that I could channel that energy into a career, PR was such an organic fit. In PR I have the opportunity to really dig into the needs of our clients to creatively make magic happen, and I’ve been able to channel that energy into BOCA initiatives as well!

What do you do for fun when you’re not killing it at BOCA?: My fiance and I are in the midst of planning a wedding – YAY! When we’re not in planning mode you’ll probably find me on the golf course, taking our dogs on adventures, or “attempting” to learn guitar…

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?: I’ve always wanted to explore the Titanic firsthand. Tours (submarine and all) run about $125K, so maybe after the wedding I’ll start saving up for that 😉

What are you binge watching right now?: I may or may not have finished all ten episodes of “Inventing Anna: in two days…lucky for me though, “A Million Little Things” and “Pivoting” are my other two favorites right now and they only air once a week so I have something to look forward to!

What is your number one motivator?: Knowing that what I’m doing is supporting others in some way, shape or form!
