It’s hard to believe that we are days away from ringing in the new year. (Wait – what year is it again?!) With so much of the world continuing to exist in chaos, it is important to pause — take a breath — and celebrate the opportunity to enjoy life with friends and family. We at BOCA are thankful to have had another knockout year, working diligently to deliver only the best for our amazing clients. As we prepare to close the door in 2021, we want to take a moment to reflect on the past year and look ahead to the future…

This past year has been amazing. I joined the BOCA team, which has been so fulfilling for me. I am finding new ways to challenge myself and reach goals that I had hoped I might be able to achieve but wasn’t quite sure how feasible it would be in actuality. On a personal level, 2021 brought me, my daughter! As a Mom of two boys, she was always a dream for me and I still have moments where I can’t believe she’s actually here and a part of our family. I look forward to 2022 and hope that we continue to move past this pandemic and inch our way back to ‘normal’. Happy holidays!

My goal for 2021 was to focus my energy on learning, both at work and personally. At BOCA, I’ve had the opportunity to work with clients during some really pivotal moments like unicorn-status funding news and acquisitions – all of which continued to prove how smart and savvy my fellow BOCAteers are! Outside of work I’ve found so much joy this year in picking up the guitar, making time to read more books, and also trying my hand at some graphic design projects. I can’t wait to see what 2022 has in store!

I am so looking forward to the new year! 2021 brought me to my position here at BOCA and I am excited about my continued growth now that I have been brought on full-time as an Account Coordinator. My team has so much knowledge and experience to offer me and I am eager to learn as much as I can. Additionally, at the start of the new year, I will officially be moved into my home in San Francisco, which will be a new chapter that I am ready to explore!

I’m so excited to welcome a new year after having such an eventful 2021. I started off the year with aspirations to break into the PR industry, and not only was I able to accomplish that, but I was also lucky enough to land at BOCA where I’m able to learn and grow each day along with some amazing and talented individuals. This year was great but I’m honestly looking forward to the great adventures 2022 will bring!
